These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement ("Agreement") between you and me, governing your access and use of www.eGDPR.lv ("Site") and relations between us. Therefore, by using the Site, these Terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure that you review them carefully before using the Site. Your use of and access to any page or part of the Site, including but not limited to purchasing Online products, indicates that you agree to comply with and be bound by all of these terms and conditions, including personal data processing terms. Continued use of this Site indicates your acceptance of any amendment or modifications of these Terms.

 By using the Site, accessing  or purchasing any Online products, you warrant that:

(a) you are over 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a legally binding contract;

(b) have read and accepted these Terms; and

(c) will comply with these Terms.

We reserve the right to change and modify the Terms at any time and you are responsible for checking the Terms regularly. You can find the date when last amendments were put in place in the beginning of these Terms. You may reject the change and terminate the Agreement by not using and accessing the Site. In that case prior consent to any earlier versions of Terms will remain in effect and enforceable as to any dispute between you and me. By continuing to access or use the Site and its services, you agree to be bound by the revised Agreement.  

ONLINE PRODUCTS

All content made available on Site contains general information about data protection and different areas of the law and does not take into account your specific needs, objectives or circumstances and therefore it cannot be regarded as legal or professional advice from a data protection officer (DPO) or lawyer. Your use of this Site, booking a consultation or the purchase of Online products, does not create a lawyer and client relationship even when any content on this Site has been authored or created by a DPO or lawyer. The Online products provided are for business use. 

Although this Site is owned and operated by a DPO and lawyer, no lawyer-client relationship is created when you access, use a Site or purchase Online products and no legal or professional advice is provided on this Site. Professional advice and services will be provided and lawyer/DPO-client relations are only to be established in cases where you book a consultation or other services which are not qualified as Online.  Any information, articles or any other information made available to you on this Site or in a newsletter/social media is general information only and does not consider your specific needs or circumstances and should not be relied upon when deciding on your particular case.  

Your use of Online products is at your own risk. We will not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages, losses or causes of action of any nature arising out of or in connection with the use of Online products and Site's content.

By making available the content of the Site, we share our opinion and practice on applicability and actions to be taken to secure safe personal data processing according to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

The Register is developed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation. We are not responsible for the use of the Register and the content that will be included in the Register as a result of its use. From the moment you start using the Register, you assume responsibility for the accuracy of your data and your responsibilities and responsibility for compliance of data protection processes within the company. A Register shall be considered as a form designed to be completed by you, in accordance with the processes and personal data processed by your company.

OFFLINE SERVICES AND DPO/LEGAL ADVICE

DPO/lawyer-client relations are only to be established after you have accepted a proposal for any offline services and entered into a service agreement with me.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Site contents, including but not limited to images, logos, graphics, colours, methods, functions and any software which helps the Site to conduct its activity is protected by copyright and by all other our intellectual property rights and the relevant rights holders. The reproduction of content, wholly or in part, and in any form whatsoever, is prohibited.

You are only authorised to view the Site and its contents. You can carry out temporary acts of reproduction, only for the personal use, which are provisional or incidental and an essential part of viewing the Site and its content. By purchasing any Online products you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited licence to access and use the document for your own personal business use. You may not assign or transfer Online products to any other. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to accept or refuse to provide the products and/or services to you at any time and for any reason.
